My blog is born, hooray!

Alright folks, here it is. My first blog post, the introductory "hooray!" Let's hope I'm able to raise this baby right, feed it and nurture it and allow it to grow into whatever it's meant to be.

Today's "hooray!" is a widespread one, sent out to the world at large in recognition of all those wonderful bloggers before me who have taught me, inspired me and most of all demonstrated to me just how beautiful the blogging community is. It is for the many incredible friends in my life that have helped me find the silver lining, to laugh at myself and to see the beauty, even if only a teeny iota, in everything that I encounter. It is for my wonderful family who have supported me through everything and shaped me into the person I am today.

Hooray to those who have come before me and beside me, who shared and continue sharing, to those who have smiled and those who will smile still. I dedicate this blog, and thus this first post, to all of you. <3
